The two stand up against the past

And following our absentminded (sorta) main heroine, we next have the standard issue loli cum childhood friend cum cousin. 3 in 1 for 3 times the goodness! (doesn't really help that Yuiko's surname is Miyoshi or 三好)

Sadly, they don't give much details about what actually happened in their past except that there's this card game involved, unlike with Chihaya's scenario. And I really can't link up to how a game popular in their childhood can result in unhappy memories. Someone lost a major game, went emo and became an hero?


In other more unrelated news, Otaku's Daughter is still awesome and going strong. Can't wait for the fourth volume that should be coming out sometime next month. Also, first chapter of volume four is a Haruka chapter so woot Harurun~

In more somehow-related-yet-not-so-related-after-all news, there are freakin too many new series this season. Not to mention quite a handful being rather awesome, and more than 75% rather good. Noteworthy ones being United States of Japan R2 (Za Warudo lol), Princess Murasaki, Ludicrously Dysfunctional Family Diary and the girly guy + 3 ninjas show.

Akihiko: "In her case, it's a memory disorder."
Akihiko: "She cannot remember anything beyond 3 days."

Chihaya: "Everytime I forget, I hurt the people around me."
Chihaya: "Asakura-san too. Because I forget you every 3 days..."

The two stand up against destiny

Chihaya: "So please. Remember everything."
Chihaya: "...it feels weird for me to be making a request to myself, but please..."
Chihaya: "You have to remember."

Chihaya: "To be honest, I was really happy."
Chihaya: "But I can't say it yet."
Chihaya: "It's for when I can remember everything again."

I'm a sucker for love stories involving anterograde amnesia. Stuff like 50 First Dates and ef -a tale of memories-, except one's a full-on comedy, and the other rather emo and "deep". Which is probably why I'm looking forward to this eroge by YuzuSoft. Also not forgetting their beautiful track record of awesome games ever since they started.

On an unrelated note, moving your mouse over the banners on the sidebar brings up some sort of page preview and related search suggestions. Is it me, or are they trying to bring up a point with "STD" related to 3 of the banners <_<;;
